If you passed your test some years ago and have never had your driving reassessed since, you feel you are a confident driver but would like to know how you can reduce your motoring costs whilst still enjoying your driving, then this is the course for you.
Our one day course combines group discussion with on-road training, normally conducted on a 2 client to one instructor basis. During group discussion you will learn about defensive driving techniques, learn new skills to help increase your level of awareness and develop an understanding of the 3 components involved in all crashes. You will have the opportunity to discuss the factors involved in the most common accident scenarios, which will help you to avoid similar situations yourself. You will be shown how to spot clues to danger which you may not have thought of before. During in-car training you will develop a better understanding of efficient driving methods for modern vehicles, leading you to become an ‘EcoSafe’ driver, using less fuel and placing less strain on the vehicle itself, leading to lower service and maintenance costs. This style of driving also reduces stress levels, thereby raising enjoyment in the driving task. Completion of this course should subsequently save you a lot of money, not only on fuel and vehicle running costs, but also in insurance premiums and, most importantly, associated health costs due to a reduction in stress levels, particularly if you have to drive a lot.

If you would prefer to arrange on-road training only, without the group element, that’s fine. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. You will be shown all the defensive driving techniques, as discussed above, with the training adapted to your style. You may choose to have a one-off session of 3 hours with one of our highly qualified trainers, or you may prefer to have more training, spread out over a longer period of shorter sessions. Whatever you choose to do, we will help you to become a confident, safe driver whilst at the same time saving you money on fuel and maintenance costs.
